John Shrive's memoir, "Done, finished, you lose it!" is of the period 1954-1960. It was written in 1980 and relates to experience at both Kettering and Market Harborough Cattle Markets, when the Auctioneers were Messrs Berry Bros and Bagshaw and J. Toller Eady.
In 1960 after the writer's excellent training with this firm he qualified young as a rural Chartered Surveyor and later as an Agricultural Valuer.
